Reflection (2/1/12)

Today I statred to go more into depth with my research and I studied how Animoto and Clipgenerator work and how easy it is to use them. Today, the IB Learner profile that I used the most was Inquirer, because I had to ask myself questions about the video tools hat I am considering to use. I would like to become a better knowledgeable person, becuase I would like to gain knowledge so that some of my other classes may be facilitated. For my project I am planning on creating a video that demonstrates the importance of being an Inquirer and it is because of that, that I am looking into video tools. Based on the criterion F Attitudes of Technology, I would give myself a 5 because I did my work, but I didn't manage to finish comparing the two video tools.

Reflection (1/25/12)

Today I was able to start on the Introduction part of my project. After finishing with my quiz, I answered the questions in the class blog in paragraph form as instructed by the teacher. While answering the questions, I learned that it is very important to ask questions so that you're always aware of what is occuring around you. Hopefully I'll be able to complete the rest of the introduction in the next class and make a big dent in the Investigate section.

Investigation (1/23/12)

Today I am going to research and look for two video editing tools so that I can learn which one is more convenient for me. I am completely sure that I will be creating a video, so I will compare the video tools to see the pro's and con's and then decide which one I prefer. At the moment Clipgenerator and Smilebox are the two tools that seem to interest me the most. I believe that either of these video tools would do a great job in helping me demonstrate the IB Learner Profile "Inquirer". I learned that these two tools can be very easy to use and that they provide a lot of resources to help create my video.
